Great Inexpensive Grill, Reviews Char-Broil 26,500 BTU 2-Burner Gas Grill, 280 Square Inch

I bought this Char-Broil 26,500 BTU 2-Burner Gas Grill at July, 2011 hoping that it would last me a season. I can't believe that this grill actually has held up better than other more expense grills I have bought in the past.

I does its job quite well, and I've succesfully prepared porkchops, burgers, and steak on it. The temperature control works very well, and I cooked the steak to medium doneness easily. This is a well designed grill, too. There is a drip cover over the burners, and a drip cup on the bottom to collect grease. The lighter button is usually the first thing to go on the grill I've bought. This one is still working after several seasons.

Fueled by liquid propane gas, this gas grill delivers 26,500 BTUs of cooking heat and offers a 280 square inch primary cooking surface to accommodate large meals. After doing some research I realized the char broil replacement parts are sold everywhere for low prices. So even if this grill gets rusty the new burner for it is around $25.00.

The Char-Broil 26,500 BTU 280 Square Inch grill is not the best quality; however, it is sturdy and does not wobble as long as you ensure all pieces are screwed in tightly and it seems adequate for the price paid - less than a C note. Have used it two to three times a week all the time.

I cooked 5 very thin t-bone steaks medium done last night in about 10 minutes. They tasted good. The heat seemed to be evenly distributed, and flare ups were not a big problem. I wish it had a second grill rack in it, but for the price who cares. I wouldn't recommend this if you cook for a family all the time. You could cook for 3 people on this no problem

If you are looking for a no frills low priced grill then you have found your winner. If you want to spend a couple hundred dollars I would be looking at the Weber brand grills. I just didn't have the money for that. If I get another 2-3 years from this grill I will be very..very happy.
